Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of Family Shift Orchestrator (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of the App
Family Shift Orchestrator helps users create and manage local family or household shift schedules, assignments, handoff checkpoints, reminders, and schedule summaries.
The App is intended as an organization tool. It does not replace professional, medical, legal, safety, employment, or emergency services advice.
2. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you enter into the App, including household names, member display names, schedule times, assignments, notes, checkpoint results, and shared summaries.
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any law or third-party right.
- Store or share unlawful, harmful, abusive, or misleading content.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the App.
- Misrepresent the App, its purpose, or its output.
3. Local Data and Sharing
The App is designed for local schedule management. Schedule data is stored on your device unless you choose to export or share it using features provided by the App or iOS.
If you export a JSON snapshot or share a schedule summary, you are responsible for choosing the recipient or destination and for checking that the shared content is appropriate.
4. Notifications
The App may ask for notification permission so it can send local reminders for upcoming handoff or completion checkpoints. You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings and notification timing inside the App where available.
5. No Account or Cloud Service
The current App features do not require account registration or sign-in. The App does not provide a cloud synchronization service for the schedule data you create in the App.
6. App Changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. Some features may change as the App evolves.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that schedules, reminders, conflict checks, exports, or summaries will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every situation.
You should review important schedules and reminders yourself, especially where missed handoffs or assignments could affect care, safety, work, or other important responsibilities.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, <LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME> will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, schedule errors, missed reminders, or decisions made based on App output.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may restrict or discontinue access to the App if required by law or if these Terms are violated.
